In preparation for the release of Eclipse Development's second life merchandise, this blog has been created as a means for publishing information on our various endeavors.
Currently, we are developing various different types of merchandise. Releases from Eclipse Development will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Clothing:
Cyber-Punk
Grunge
Goth
Business Casual
Lingerie
Costumes
Casual Apparel (Jeans, T-Shirts, etc.)
Furniture:
Our furniture is being developed using a compilation of web-gathered images and original "from scratch" designs, put together in Photoshop to be used for our furniture. This means that, while not all of the designs are entirely original to Eclipse, their manipulation will insure that our furniture is impossible to duplicate 100%. Our focus is unique, tasteful furniture that is relatively low prim and textured very well.
Role-play Prefabs:
There are too many various prefabs under development to properly document them. We will be releasing information on multiple role-play prefabs as they are released.
But what is an Eclipse Role-play Prefab?
Have you ever wanted to go somewhere that doesn't exist in Secondlife? Perhaps you'd like to spend the day on a tropical island, or Times' Square? What if you want to visit these places with absolute privacy? Perhaps even in your own home or five hundred meters over a random sandbox...Eclipse Role-play Prefabs are temporary, compact, adult-oriented "fantasy rooms" small enough to fit in your SL home.
In some instances, free furniture or other items that have been donated to the SL community are used in our prefabs. This drastically cuts down on development time and allows us to release more RP prefabs for your enjoyment. When necessary, these items are re-textured to suit the theme of a given RP prefab. We are very thankful to those very talented individuals, who have selflessly put in the work and time to make these items available at no cost to the community.
Each Role-play prefab will be released populated with a script system that will distribute pose balls. We've found this to be a better alternative, where possible, for prim-minded SLers. Because we understand what it's like to run frequent prim counts on property, we have taken pains to insure that the prefabs are as low prim as possible without completely detracting from aesthetics.
